What you'll do:

Lead and supervise the team – Manage the day-to-day operations of the DOC team, ensuring staff are supported, motivated, and performing to a high standard.

Plan and manage staffing – Organise schedules, cover absences and holidays, administer payroll, and maintain personnel records.

Maintain cleaning standards – Ensure all areas are cleaned, sanitised, and inspected regularly to meet the required standards through daily spot checks.

Promote health and safety – Maintain a safe working environment by managing incidents, reporting hazards, communicating safety lessons, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.

Manage equipment and supplies – Ensure cleaning equipment is safe, well maintained, correctly stored, and that materials are used efficiently to minimise waste.

Communicate and report effectively – Act as the main point of contact for DOC-related issues, hold regular team meetings, complete documentation accurately, and report on safety and performance metrics.

Recruit, train, and develop staff – Recruit, induct, train, appraise, and develop employees while maintaining training records and supporting continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance and operational excellence – Follow all company, client, and statutory policies, maintain security standards, and carry out additional duties as required to support site operations.
