HL Commodity Foods is seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join our food manufacturing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover.
Working Hours
- 37.5 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend overtime may be required
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of ingredients and raw materials for production
- Cheese cutting, de-boxing and product preparation
- Assisting with manufacturing, packing and labelling operations
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and housekeeping
- Following food safety, quality and health & safety procedures
- Completing production records accurately
- Supporting warehouse and dispatch activities as required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment or a similar food-related business
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- An awareness of food safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements
- Flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills
