Retail Sales Assistant – Red Earth
Red Earth is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated Retail Sales Assistant to join our busy team.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with customers, takes pride in creating an attractive retail environment and is comfortable working as part of a fast-paced team. You will play an important part in delivering a welcoming experience for every customer while helping with the day-to-day running of the store.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service
- Assisting customers with product enquiries and purchases
- Driving sales and helping the team achieve store targets
- Merchandising products and maintaining attractive displays
- Receiving, organising and replenishing stock
- Supporting regular stock checks and stock control
- Picking, packing and processing online orders
- Preparing orders for delivery or customer collection
- Keeping the shop floor, stock areas and customer spaces clean, tidy and well presented
- Assisting with other general duties as required
The ideal candidate will be reliable, organised and confident communicating with customers. You should have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in retail, customer service or online order fulfilment would be an advantage.
