At Theatre of Light, located in Point Square in the heart of Dublin, we create unforgettable immersive experiences for families and kids.. Our café is a big part of that experience — a cosy space for parents to enjoy great coffee and food while the little ones make the most of our soft play area. We're looking for a Café Manager who's ready to own and lead the space, and keep the good vibes going every single day.
Just a Few Things Before You Apply
This role requires:
- Minimum 2 years of barista experience in a busy café or coffee shop environment.
- Previous experience in a management role within a café, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting.
- Experience managing retail operations, meeting KPIs, and implementing changes to drive sales growth.
- Experience with stock control and inventory management.
- Comfortable with basic reporting tasks (daily sales, stock levels, etc.)
- Full-time availability required — our busiest days are weekends, so weekend availability is essential.
- Valid right to work in Ireland (we are unable to sponsor visas).
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and managing the café day-to-day.
- Making and serving top-quality coffee and beverages.
- Supervising the kids' soft play area — keeping it safe, clean, and fun.
- Managing stock, placing orders, and keeping inventory on track.
- Completing daily and weekly reports.
- Handling cash and POS transactions accurately.
- Creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest.
