We currently have a vacancy for an Operator to run our CNC Panel Cutting Machine, responsible for cutting large, composite pressed panels.
Role Overview
This is a technical, hands-on role that involves operating and programming the CNC panel cutting machine to produce high-quality components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and operate the CNC panel cutting machine to cut large composite panels.
- Set up and maintain tools and blades to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
- Load and unload panels
- Safely move cut panels and load them onto trailers for shipping.
- Perform Quality Control (QC) inspections on panel dimensions to verify that machining and programming match engineering drawings.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
Skills and Experience
- Experience operating CNC machinery, preferably in woodwork/joinery equipment
- Knowledge of CNC programming and tooling setup.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience using gantry cranes and vacuum lifting systems (training can be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and communicate to supervisors
