- Must have QQI/Fetac level 5 or higher in early childhood education.
- Supporting a child who requires help within the Pre-school classroom.
- Follow the guidelines, policies & procedures within the service.
- Provide positive and meaningful experiences for the child.
- Encourage the child's development positive behaviour in a fun environment.
- To communicate effectively with the parents daily on the progress and development of the child in a professional, effective and friendly manner
- Plan and carry out activities based on children's interest using an emergent curriculum.
- Work as part of a team.

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Mullingar, County Westmeath: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- QQI level 5 in early childhood care and education (required)
