Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled LCV Technician to join our team in North Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests on light commercial vehicles, completing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are safe and adhere to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics & Repair: Use diagnostic tools to identify vehicle issues and complete necessary repairs efficiently and effectively.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on light commercial vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
- Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections to determine the condition of different parts, from engines to exhaust systems.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all repairs and maintenance work meet or exceed regulatory standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
- Customer Service: Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues and potential repairs.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, vehicle technologies, and best practices.
- Shop Maintenance: Keep tools, equipment, and workspaces clean and in optimal working condition.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with team members and assist other mechanics as needed.
Qualifications:
- Relevant certification in vehicle mechanics or a related field.
- Proven experience as a LCV mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of LCV
- Valid driving license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
