Key Responsibilities
- Carry out duties on the slaughter line in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist with the safe and efficient processing of cattle.
- Carry out cutting and boning duties where required.
- Follow instructions from line supervisors and management.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and product quality.
- Follow HACCP and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Understand and comply with food safety regulations and company requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Work efficiently and cooperatively as part of a team.
- Meet daily production and quality targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a slaughterhouse or meat processing environment is an advantage.
- Experience with meat cutting and boning is desirable.
- Good understanding of HACCP and food safety practices.
- Understanding the importance of complying with food safety regulations and established procedures.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
- Training will be provided where appropriate.
