RCH Facility Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Industrial Cleaning Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in industrial cleaning and team leadership. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar management or supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Manage, support and motivate a team of industrial cleaning operatives to consistently deliver high-quality services.
- Organise and oversee the day-to-day running of the industrial cleaning division, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Promote a positive working environment while maintaining productivity and accountability.
Industrial Cleaning Operations
- Apply extensive knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, equipment and best practices.
- Work closely with the Senior Operations Manager to ensure smooth coordination between industrial and general cleaning services.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and in line with company standards.
Performance Management
- Monitor and achieve departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement effective solutions to improve operational performance.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all staff comply with company policies regarding uniforms, PPE and health and safety procedures.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all sites.
Technology & Reporting
- Monitor the daily use of the company’s operational app by supervisors and cleaning teams.
- Ensure accurate reporting, compliance and efficient communication through company systems.
Customer Relations
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Attend meetings with prospective customers and confidently present the company’s services to help secure new business opportunities.
Stock & Resource Management
- Control stock levels across multiple sites while preventing unnecessary expenditure.
- Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are effectively managed and available when required.
Business Development & Planning
- Assist with the ongoing development and growth of the industrial cleaning division.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve processes, efficiency and overall business performance.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within the cleaning industry.
- Full, clean Irish Driving Licence.
- Proven leadership and people management experience.
- Strong understanding of industrial cleaning methods, equipment and health & safety requirements.
- Experience working with KPIs and performance monitoring.
- Confident using mobile applications and digital management systems.
- Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills.
- Strong planning, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Previous experience preparing and managing staff rotas.
