The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of cement bottle trucks and HGVs, ensuring the fleet remains compliant, roadworthy, and operating efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair cement bottle trucks and HGVs
- Prepare vehicles for CVRT testing
- Complete 13-week inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults
- Carry out repairs on brakes, suspension, hydraulics, and engine systems
- Maintain accurate service and inspection records
The Person:
- Qualified HGV Mechanic or strong heavy vehicle experience
- Experience with CVRT preparation and scheduled inspections
- Good knowledge of diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Strong fault-finding skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
