Production Operative – GMP Manufacturing

You do not need previous GMP or cleanroom experience — full training will be provided to help you develop the technical knowledge, manufacturing skills and understanding required to succeed in the role.

The Role
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out production activities safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and GMP requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Following production instructions provided by management, supervisors and team leads.
- Following gowning and contamination-control procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
- Working in accordance with GMP and the company's Quality Management System.
- Completing production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
- Working towards agreed production plans and deadlines.
- Carrying out manufacturing processes including ferrule welding, cutting and impulse welding.
- Safely operating a range of manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Packaging finished products ready for delivery to customers.
- Carrying out cleaning and other authorised maintenance activities.
- Identifying and reporting material defects, production issues or quality concerns.
- Managing a variety of production assignments throughout the working day.
- Maintaining accurate attendance and production records.
- Following all health & safety requirements and company policies.
- Supporting a positive, professional and team-focused production culture.
- Working overtime when required to meet production requirements.
- Undertaking other reasonable duties in line with the role.
Training & Career Development
No previous GMP experience? That's okay.
We are looking for people who are reliable, motivated, willing to learn and interested in developing a long-term career in manufacturing.
You will receive training in our production processes, work instructions, GMP requirements, health & safety and quality procedures. As you gain experience and demonstrate your capability, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities, develop specialist skills and progress within the organisation.

Desirable Experience
The following would be an advantage, but are not essential as training will be provided:
- Previous cleanroom experience
- Previous GMP experience
- Previous GDP experience
- Manufacturing or production experience
- Experience working in a quality-controlled or regulated environment
