The Slieve League Hotel Group in County Donegal seeks to recruit a professional and customer service focused Manager to lead the team in the Tara Hotel. Duties include:
- Manager will be fully responsible for the day-to-day operations
- Must have strong Food & Beverage experience
- Must have strong Room Management experience
- All aspects of marketing including social media.
- Ensuring excellent service is provided to all guests/visitors at all times
- Driving sales initiatives within the property
- Working closely with the team on the strategy planning
- To be able to delegate, train and encourage initiative staff
- Working closely with the accounts department to ensure all purchasing and sales procedures are running efficiently
- Being active in getting new business
- Ensuring to company policies, procedures and SOP’s
- Co-ordinating the Health & Safety agenda in the property
- Dealing with all HR issues in conjunction with our HR consultants
- Ensuring stock percentages are at an agreed acceptable rate and all processes to get to this are followed
- Ensuring that all cash is managed, forecasted, and reconciled correctly
- Ensuring that the system of recording, invoicing and management of debtor balances is done in an effective manner
- Payroll is recorded correctly
Requirements:
- Should have a least 2 years’ experience as a Senior Hotel Manager within a busy similar business
- Must have strong people management skills, communications skills, organizational skills and computer skills
- Knowledge of Room Management and accounts software
- Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Must have a strong knowledge of all departments with a particular emphasis on food & beverage/ sales and the new initiatives/innovations taking place within the industry
- Must have a proven track record in achieving results/targets
- Must have a proven track record to develop and identify existing staff within an organization for promotion
- Must have an excellent understanding of financials
- Must have excellent social media and marketing skills
