We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Intellectual Disability (ID) Nurse to join a well-established residential service in North Dublin, supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a homely, person-centred environment focused on promoting independence, dignity, community inclusion, and overall quality of life.

Essential Requirements
- Active NMBI registration (valid NMBI PIN essential)
- Minimum 1 year experience in an Intellectual Disability setting
- Experience working in a residential care environment desirable
- Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and person-centred planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care within a residential setting
- Support residents with complex needs, epilepsy management, behaviours of concern, and other healthcare requirements
- Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans
- Administer medications safely in line with policy and best practice
- Promote independence, life skills development, and community participation
- Liaise with families, carers, and allied healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and organisational policies
