Well Café is looking for a reliable, energetic, and organised Kitchen Assistant to join our growing team in Killarney.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment and takes pride in food presentation, cleanliness, consistency, and customer experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Preparing and assembling toasties, breakfast items, wraps, and bowls
- Preparing and serving Well Café signature açaí bowls and smoothies
- Food prep including vegetables, fruit, sauces, proteins, and garnishes
- Maintaining high food presentation standards
- Supporting daily kitchen operations during busy service periods
- Ensuring all HACCP procedures and food safety standards are followed
- Temperature checks, cleaning schedules, and stock rotation
- Keeping kitchen and prep areas clean, organised, and efficient
- Assisting with deliveries and stock organisation
- Working closely with front of house and management team
Requirements
- Previous café or kitchen experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good understanding of food hygiene and HACCP
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Attention to detail and consistency
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
