K&B Supplies are looking for friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused Salespeople to join our team in our busy hardware store.
We require the following:
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll be dealing with tradespeople, DIY customers and members of the public, helping them find the right products and providing excellent service.
What you'll be doing;
· Serving customers at the trade/retail counter and over the phone
· Taking orders and processing sales accurately
· Advising customers on Paint, building materials and related products
· Preparing and organising customer orders
· Receiving, checking and putting away stock
· Keeping the trade counter and surrounding areas clean and well organised
· Building strong relationships with regular trade customers
· Working as part of a friendly and supportive store team
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is:
· Friendly, reliable and approachable
· Confident dealing with customers
· A good communicator with a positive attitude
· Organised and able to work in a busy environment
· Comfortable working as part of a team
· Interested in hardware, building products or DIY
Previous trade-counter, hardware or sales experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right person.
