Full Job Description
As a Traffic Management Supervisor, you will have the relevant skills and qualifications to lead, manage, direct, and develop a team of traffic management operatives whilst working on site.
Some of the duties a traffic management supervisor will perform are as follows: -
- Stop/Go
- Road Closures and Diversions
- Lane Closures
- Setting up and management of traffic light systems.
- Flagman duties at road closure points.
- Pedestrian management
Essential Requirements for the role
- Manage and instruct a team of traffic management operatives onsite.
- Have excellent communication.
- Build relationships with our clients and relay relevant information back to the Operations manager in a timely manner.
- Health and Safety awareness.
- Excellent time management is essential.
- Desire to work long hours in all weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions issued by the Operations Team.
- Valid Safe pass.
- Valid Manual Handling Certificate.
- Valid SLG (Signing Lighting and Guarding) 3-day ticket.
- A Full EU Driving license is required.
- Availability for overnight stays when required, accommodation to be provided.
Experience:
- Traffic Management: 2 years (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €15.00-€20.00 per hour
