The Old Barracks Coffee Roastery is looking for an experienced and passionate Cafe Manager to lead our Birdhill cafe team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves great coffee, excellent hospitality, and creating memorable experiences for customers.
As Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the cafe, leading the team, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring our customers receive the quality and care that The Old Barracks Coffee Roastery is known for.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage daily cafe operations and lead the team.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and hospitality standards.
- Support team training, scheduling, and performance.
- Maintain quality standards across coffee, food, and service.
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and daily operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, health, and safety standards.
- Support sales growth and continuous improvement of cafe operations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience managing a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality team.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A passion for specialty coffee and quality food.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- The ability to create a positive and welcoming team environment.

Salary: €40,000–€50,000 per year, depending on experience.
