We're a family-run, 31-bedroom hotel on Lough Ramor in Virginia, Co. Cavan, with four different spaces to run: a busy bar & grill, wedding and banqueting suites, lakeshore and outdoor spaces that carry the summer, and a drive-thru coffee dock that's a small world of its own.
Locals, residents, wedding parties and tourists, often all in the one afternoon. We're hiring an F&B Manager to run the lot. You'll report to our GM and Deputy GM, and work hand in glove with our Head Chef. The kitchen is his; the floor is yours.
The job
- Run service across all four spaces and set the standard in each
- Own the F&B numbers with our CFO: beverage GP, labour, stock, ordering and rosters.
- Build your team for the season and grow your own supervisors, backed by an expierienced team of professionals.
- Lead weddings on the day, from setup to last orders
- Take your turn on the duty manager rota, evenings and weekends included
You'll suit it if
- You've 4+ years managing F&B in a 4/5-star hotel, or somewhere run to that standard
- You've run weddings and banqueting, as well as a busy restaurant floor
- You can talk through numbers you've moved: a GP you lifted, a labour line you got under control
- People you've trained have gone on to bigger jobs
- You know HACCP and licensing law, and you're quick on POS and stock systems
- You have the right to work in Ireland and fluent English
Pay and the rest
€50,000–€60,000 depending on experience, an annual bonus on targets we'll agree with you, and a share of tips. Help with relocation if you're moving from further afield. Meals on duty, parking and uniform. Pension, sick pay, bike-to-work, staff discount and an employee assistance programme.
