Bellingham castle, Castlebellingham, co. Louth, are recruiting for a Chef de Partie with Pastry section experience.
This is a permanent , variable hour role ideally suited to someone requiring full time seasonal work with short time hours during off peak period( Oct - Feb), with the desire to acquire knowledge across all sections of kitchen production.
As a Chef De Partie (CDP) you are responsible supporting the Head and Sous Chef in a busy Exclusive venue kitchen, delivering consistently high-quality food across variable sections, including the pastry section,
Main duties of CDP (pastry)

Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meet the standard and the quality set by Bellingham Castle.

Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.

Coordinate daily tasks with the Sous Chef.

Responsible to supervise junior chefs or commis.

Able to estimate the daily production needs and check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.

Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
Main requirements of CDP (Pastry)

Relevant culinary qualifications

Previous experience as chef de Partie
- Experience working in Pastry section

Fluent level of Spoken & written English
