Glenmore Farming Group Ltd is located in Glenmore Estate outside Ballybofey and currently requires an Agricultural Machinery and Arable Administrator. The group has several entities covering renewable energy, farming, Arable and transport sectors.
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Agricultural Machinery and Arable Administrator to support the day-to-day administration of our farming operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating machinery records, staff administration, compliance documentation, scheduling, and general office support to ensure the efficient operation of the Arable business.
Key Responsibilities
Agricultural Machinery and Arable Administration
- Maintain accurate records for all farm machinery, vehicles, and equipment.
- Schedule and track servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
- Maintain equipment inventories and procurement records.
- Assist with machinery compliance and safety documentation for Health and Safety Co Ordinator .
Staff Administration
- Assist to help maintain employee records, leave records, and training documentation.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new staff.
- Coordinate staff schedules and work allocations with Arable management and publish as required.
- Ensure staff certifications, licenses, and training records remain up to date.
- Support health and safety compliance and reporting requirements.
General Administration
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and operational documentation.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and supplier communications.
- Maintain filing systems and Arable operational records.
- Answer telephone and email enquiries professionally.
- Support managers with administrative and organizational tasks.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in agriculture, farming, machinery, Arable or a related industry.
- Knowledge of agricultural machinery and maintenance processes and scheduling systems.
- Understanding of Farming /Machinery health and safety regulations.
