The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic manufacturing team. You will play a critical role in ensuring our production and bottling lines operate efficiently, safely, and reliably while maintaining the highest quality and food safety standards.
Working closely with the Maintenance Manager and production teams, you'll be involved in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, continuous improvement projects, and supporting the smooth operation of a modern manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Engineering
- Carry out preventative and planned maintenance activities across processing and packaging equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
- Perform repairs to bottling, processing, handling, and packaging machinery.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase plant reliability and operational efficiency.
- Assist with maintenance of site utilities including compressed air, water, steam, refrigeration, and effluent systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Support installation, commissioning, and upgrading of equipment where required.
Quality, Food Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed in accordance with GMP standards.
- Support compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), HACCP, VACCP, TACCP, BRC, traceability, and food safety requirements.
- Promote and support a positive food safety culture throughout the facility.
- Ensure equipment and facilities continuously meet regulatory and company standards.
Health, Safety & Environmental
- Adhere to all company and legislative Health & Safety requirements.
- Identify and report potential hazards and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate and liaise with contractors on-site when required.
- Contribute to a safe, efficient, and positive working environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience within the food, beverage, bottling, pharmaceutical, or FMCG sectors.
- Electrical maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
