Driver/Porter – Movers and Makers Ltd (Sligo)
Movers and Makers Ltd is a professional removals and packaging company based in Sligo, providing services to clients locally and nationwide. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and courteous Driver/Porter to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely driving company vehicles for household and commercial removals (nationwide).
- Packing, loading, transporting, and unloading household items with care and efficiency.
- Assisting with warehouse operations, including packaging and storage.
- Conducting basic furniture assembly and disassembly as required.
- Working closely with team members to ensure a professional and positive customer experience.
Requirements:
- Full, clean driving license (essential).
- Minimum age 23 (for insurance purposes).
- Good level of physical fitness, with the ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including occasional overnight stays.
- Good spatial awareness for moving and packing items securely.
- Previous experience in the removals industry is desirable but not essential.
