The Position
An exciting opportunity has come up to join our Finance team who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the completion of day-to-day finance and accounting activities to support the business operations and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain the accounts payable ledger, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments

Monthly reconciling of supplier statements.

Monthly bank reconciliation

Bi monthly VAT returns

Assist with processing of client receipts and Debtors ledger

Assist with month-end closing processes and other ad hoc tasks as required

Assist with preparation of annual audit files and annual budget process

Assist with general accounts and finance queries
Education and Experience
Job Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)

Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role accounts assistant / bookkeeper position

Accounting Technician / Degree qualification in finance or business administration
- Proficient in use of Microsoft applications and excel
