Cafe Q ( Part of the Quigleys group) is seeking an experienced, driven, and hands-on Store Manager. This is a leadership role for someone who is passionate about exceptional customer service, coffee house vibes and is focused on driving sales while maintaining the highest operational and brand standards.
About the Role:
As our Café Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our vibrant, welcoming space—leading from the front and inspiring your team every day. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the café, ensuring high standards across everything from our barista-crafted coffee and delicious food to our irresistible sweet treats.

Key Responsibilities:
- ·Drive and monitor sales, customer service, purchases, waste, and labor targets.
- Ensure excellent customer service is delivered consistently throughout the store.
- Maintain high operational standards across all departments.
- Recruit, train, develop, and manage team members to uphold store standards,
- Strong focus on upselling & implementation of this training
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and manage team development.
- Ensure the store is always fully stocked, well-merchandised, and visually appealing.
- Manage scheduling and rotas.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, Health & Safety, and HACCP regulations.
- Uphold grooming, hygiene, and cleanliness standards across the store.
- Take initiative in resolving operational or customer issues quickly and effectively.
- Foster a positive team culture, encouraging collaboration, ownership, and growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar management role within retail or hospitality.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- A commercial mindset with a strong focus on results and customer experience.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Someone who is coffee obsessed.
