Experienced Motor Mechanic – Full Time
Location: United Tyres Autoservice, Walkinstown. Dublin 12
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: 45k-55k depending on experience
We are a busy and well-established independent garage currently looking for an experienced motor mechanic/tyre fitter to join our growing team. This is a long-term position with steady work and good conditions for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and repairing cars and light commercial vehicles
- Diagnostics and fault finding (mechanical & basic electrical)
- Clutches, timing belts/chains, brakes, suspension, exhausts
- Carrying out work to a high standard and within reasonable timeframes
- When needed, Tyre fitting, Wheel balancing, Wheel alligning
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years experience as a qualified or time-served mechanic
- Tyre fitting experience a plus (training will be provided)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Full driving licence preferred
- Basic english level
