Senior Chartered Physiotherapist required, Private Practice Galway City. Additional opportunity to work within a sports team for a suitably-experienced candidate.
We are currently looking for an experienced full-time MSK physiotherapist to join our team in a busy private practice on the outskirts of Galway City.
There are 7 physios and 3 administration staff in our purpose-built clinic, with 6 individual treatment rooms, and two gym spaces; one of which we use as a rehabilitation space and the other for classes. We have a varied caseload including post-op, rheumatology, spinal, orthopaedics, women's health, occupational and all sports injuries from weekend warriors to elite high-performance athletes. We have considerable expertise within the team and so see a wide variety of conditions and presentations, in particular acute and chronic complex lower limb injuries and a cohort of ante- and post-natal women.
The practice is one of the largest in Connacht, and is a busy, friendly and warm place to work. We have a strong emphasis on manual therapy, sports return to play and individualised rehabilitation.
The role is flexible, salary-paid, and professional development is provided and encouraged. Salary is negotiable and based on level of experience and training.
Pilates and/or dry needling experience is preferable. A keen interest in sports physiotherapy would be an advantage.
Candidate Must have minimum 5+ years experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and must be ISCP and CORU registered. Fluent English is a requirement. Please note that only candidates that meet these criteria will be considered.
