This is a role for someone who wants to be at the centre of an accounts function, not on the edge of one. Someone who'd rather have variety and real responsibility than the same narrow routine every day.
This is a small finance team supporting a large business eleven gaming venues across Ireland and Northern Ireland, our online casino, and everything that comes with them. That means you won't have one lane. You'll work across the whole accounts function: payables, receivables, credit control, reconciliations, payroll, VAT and reporting often in the same week, sometimes in the same day.
The work matters immediately. Payroll, payments and reporting are live from your first week this isn't a role where you shadow someone for six months before touching anything real. You'll see the effect of what you do the same week you do it.
We care more about how you think than what's on your CV. If you've got solid accounts experience, an eye for detail, and you're the kind of person who spots a broken process and fixes it rather than working around it we want to hear from you. The title and pay match what you bring.
Coastline Gaming is one of Ireland's most established gaming and entertainment operators, with eleven venues nationwide and our fast-growing online casino. For over 40 years, we've been creating spaces where people come to enjoy themselves not a startup that might not be around tomorrow. We're stable, we're growing, and we invest in the people who run the business day to day.
One more thing, and it matters: we're an AI-forward company. Everyone here, up to Senior Management and Director level, uses AI tools daily for real work and finance is no exception. We're not looking for an AI expert. We're looking for an accounts person who already uses AI to work better, wants to get better at it, and sees it for what it is: the biggest change in how this kind of work gets done in a generation. If that excites you rather than worries you, keep reading.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Accounts payable processing supplier invoices, matching to purchase orders and delivery dockets, running payment runs, and reconciling supplier statements
Payroll preparing and processing payroll including PAYE, PRSI and USC, managing starters and leavers, and hitting every Revenue deadline
Accounts postings and admin accurate, timely posting to the accounting system, keeping a clean, audit-ready ledger, plus the general administration that keeps the office running
This list isn't a boundary. If you see a process that's slower or messier than it should be, improving it is part of the job and you'll have the tools to actually do it.
WHO YOU ARE
A relevant qualification ATI/IATI, or part-qualified ACCA/ACA is an advantage, but not essential. What matters is what you can do.
