ITM Staffing is recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants for residential services in Longford, supporting children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities and behaviours that challenge.
These roles offer ongoing residential placements and consistency, ideal for Healthcare Assistants who want meaningful, hands‑on work in a structured, supportive environment.
The Role:
- Supporting young people with personal care, daily routines, and emotional regulation
- Assisting with positive behaviour support plans
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary residential care team
- Providing a safe, structured, and supportive living environment
- Managing behaviours of concern in line with policy and training
Requirements:
- QQI / FETAC Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent)
- Experience in residential, disability, or challenging behaviour settings
- MAPA / CPI / PMAV training preferred
- (Training can be provided on site for successful applicants)
- Full, clean driver’s licence preferred (use of company vehicle as required)
- Strong communication skills, emotional resilience, and a calm, consistent approach
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
