The role
You’ll position the CIPD Ireland proposition as one of thought leadership, leading to the attraction and retention of members and students and positive engaging with business. You’ll proactively engage and build relations with key customer groups, specifically learning centres, students, members, and other key partners, acting as the face of CIPD and representing the full spectrum of CIPD products and services. Lastly, in line with the global strategy, you’ll develop and deliver the marketing, communications and social media strategy to enhance CIPD Ireland position, commercial growth, activities and insights.
What you’ll be doing

Support the development and continued evolution of the CIPD Ireland membership proposition through evaluating our member engagement, enhancing our resources, to achieve targets to attract, retain and upgrade membership.

Acting as ‘brand ambassador’ for the CIPD, representing the full range of our services and thought leadership to key customer groups and partners, businesses, in a proactive way.
- Analysing and providing insights on the HR profile in Ireland and the CIPD membership opportunity and avenues to market.

Developing and maintaining market and member engagement knowledge/intelligence to assist in identifying opportunities for the CIPD Ireland proposition.

Developing and leading a social media strategy to enhance our online activity and impact.

Advising on activities and events targeted at engaging with student members, upgrading current members and to attract non-members.

Collaborating with colleagues to support the marketing of CIPD Ireland membership and B2B campaigns and contribute to the impact of CIPD conferences and events and Regional networks.
- Leveraging CIPD local, national and international networks as well as our communications and online presence, to support membership development.
What you’ll need to be successful

General knowledge, insight, and/or background in HR and L&D

Communications/marketing capability to draw on HR and L&D knowledge to drive communications and the content proposition

Demonstration of creative approaches to building social media presence

Strong team play with capability to work collaboratively within CIPD Ireland and with all CIPD colleagues

Experience of business and customer relationship development
- Understand sales in education/professional services/b2b environment

Excellent at articulating solutions based on business/customer needs

Good knowledge of working with Irish organisations and educational institutes.

Experience and understanding of a professional membership body

Confident at presenting, possesses impact and presence, able to converse with people at all levels
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication and commercial skills

Computer literate, CRM systems, Email marketing, Microsoft Office and spreadsheets.
