Nature's Best is Ireland's leading producer of fresh prepared salads and vegetables — from farm to shelf within a single day. Operating from our 80,000 sq ft, BRC AA accredited facility in Drogheda, we supply products to almost every supermarket in Ireland,
We're now looking for an Area Production Manager to join our Production Department and help lead the team that keeps Ireland's fridges stocked with fresh, quality produce every single day. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, hands-on leader to take ownership of a key area of our production floor, develop their management career, and make a real impact in a fast-paced, high-volume food manufacturing environment.
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Greenvale Park, Donore Road, Drogheda, Co. Louth
Reporting to: Production Manager
What you'll be doing:
- Leading, motivating, and developing your production shift team to consistently hit safety, quality, and output targets
- Planning and prioritising production activities to meet the day-to-day demands of a busy, fast-moving operation
- Ensuring full compliance with GMP regulations, SOPs, and internal company policies across your area
- Bringing a proactive, can-do approach to problem-solving on the floor
- Working closely with other departments — Maintenance, Quality, and Human Resources — to keep everything running smoothly
What we're looking for:
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment is a distinct advantage
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role is beneficial but not essential — full training and support will be provided
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to bring people with you
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; business-level English is required
- Full flexibility to work any shift pattern, including nights and weekends, in line with our 24/7 operation
