We are currently looking for an experienced Forklift Driver for our company, Hyland Shipping Agencies Ltd., based in Finglas, Northern Cross Business Park, Dublin 11. This is a full-time role with an immediate start.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Loading and unloading of both 40ft and rigid trucks
- Carrying out forklift safety checks, reporting of any hazards
- Ensure all deliveries are checked in accurately and that no sub-standard or incorrect goods are received into the warehouse
- Ensure that Goods Receiving and Dispatching procedures are followed at all time
- Protect and handle all stock to a high standard.
- Ensure Company Health and Safety standards of performance are followed at all times
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience operating counterbalance forklift trucks
- All required forklift licences/certifications must be valid and up to date
- Manual handling certification must also be valid and up to date, as manual handling is required daily as part of the role.
- Very good English is essential, as the driver will need to read and understand manifests, carton labels and other warehouse documentation.
- The candidate needs to be comfortable carrying out both forklift and general warehouse/manual handling duties.
