Job Description
S&W’s Business Tax Team provides tax advisory and compliance services covering all relevant taxes including corporation tax, international tax, indirect tax and employment tax. S&W is seeking a Tax Associate to join its Business Tax Team in the Dublin office. The Tax Associate will be responsible for assisting senior tax professionals on a variety of tax compliance and advisory projects.
Accordingly, the Tax Associate’s day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns and computations.

Communicating with clients.

Conducting tax research assignments.

Drafting technical documentation.

Acquiring and building relationships with clients.

Supporting senior team members with complex client situations.
Qualifications

Experience in a tax or accountancy environment.

A third level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, Business, or a related discipline.

A strong academic record with a minimum 2:2 honours degree.

Pursuing the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) qualification.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
