Main Duties include:
The Production Manager will be responsible for:
- Coordinate the production of orders to meet dispatch deadlines
- Identify opportunities to optimise and improve production efficiencies
- Overall production planning, scheduling, executing, and directing production activities
- Ensure all quality controls in respect to materials, process flow, finished products, packaging and H&S matters are adhered to strictly.
- Supporting Production Supervisors to plan staffing and ensuring relevant training where necessary
- Enforcement of Health and Safety guidelines and compliance with internal and external regulations
- Ensure the highest standards of product manufacturing
- Implementation of Continuous Improvement activities as part of the production process
- Other ad hoc activities

Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years proven supervisory experience
- Working knowledge within the metal fabrication / manufacturing industry would be an advantage
- Must have previous experience of managing multiple staff
- Experience of using M.R.P. systems
- Experience of Continuous Improvement
- Excellent computer skills
- Fluent in English
Salary will depend on experience.
