THE ROLE - PRODUCTION OPERATIVE
You will carry out required production and related processes, within agreed time frames, to specification and agreed quality standards, whilst observing all health and safety requirements, meeting and exceeding customer satisfaction expectations to drive the business.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· To comply with company health and safety procedures and legal requirements, wearing required PPE, operating of machines, reporting hazards, logging safety observations, to promote a safe working environment for everyone.
· To carry out required production related processes, including product assembly and machine operation, to meet product specification and agreed output levels, completing appropriate Works Orders accordingly.
· To ensure in process and final inspection quality checks are carried out as per product specification, using required calibrated equipment where appropriate, releasing product for further processing or dispatch, to ensure customer satisfaction with product/service provided.
· To identify and quarantine non-conforming products for Rework/Scrap resulting from quality checks where appropriate, to ensure customer satisfaction with quality and adequacy of finished product.
· To keep work areas clean and organised, disposing of waste/packaging properly, and maintaining a safe work environment.
· To provide production support where possible/appropriate to Supervisors/Managers to ensure smooth running of production and customer satisfaction, to drive the business.
· Ad hoc duties required by Management.
REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum requirement – Leaving Certificate
· Experience 2 years
