Job Description
We are currently seeking a multi-skilled operative to support residential retrofit projects. The role involves core drilling for ventilation systems, along with minor carpentry and plastering works to make good after installations.
Key Duties
- Carry out core drilling for extract fans and ventilation systems
- Complete making good works including:
- Minor carpentry (boxing out, framing, small adjustments)
- Plastering / patching after installs
- Assist with installation of heat pumps and ventilation systems
- General site duties across retrofit projects
- Work alongside electricians and other trades
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements
- Proven experience in core drilling (essential)
- Experience in carpentry and/or plastering
- Background in construction or retrofit works
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Good understanding of site health & safety
- Full driving licence
Desirable
- Experience on retrofit or SEAI projects
- Experience assisting with heat pump or ventilation installs
- Safe Pass / Manual Handling
