Arnold's Hotel, Dunfanaghy is currently recruiting a Food & Beverage Manager to join our management team.
This is a hands-on management role responsible for the day-to-day operation of our food and beverage departments, ensuring exceptional guest service, strong team performance, and high operational standards throughout the hotel. The successful candidate will also undertake Duty Manager shifts as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily operation of the hotel bar, restaurant, and food & beverage service
- Leading, motivating, and supporting the food and beverage team
- Ensuring excellent guest service and handling customer feedback professionally
- Managing staff rotas, attendance, and departmental scheduling
- Assisting with recruitment, training, and development of team members
- Monitoring stock levels, ordering, and stock control procedures
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP, health & safety, and company policies
- Working closely with the Head Chef and senior management team to deliver a high-quality guest experience
- Undertaking Duty Manager shifts and assisting with the overall operation of the hotel when required
- Maintaining departmental standards and identifying opportunities for improvement
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a Food & Beverage management or supervisory role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Experience managing busy bar and restaurant operations
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and Duty Manager shifts
- Knowledge of stock control, staffing, and hospitality operations
