We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Data Engineer to support the design and delivery of data integration solutions within MTM Engineering. This role sits within our technology function and will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and delivery partners to develop reliable data pipelines across Dynamics 365, Dataverse and wider enterprise systems. The primary purpose of the role is to design, implement and maintain ETL and ELT processes that support data quality and integration requirements. The scope includes data engineering, data modelling, system integration, API-based data exchange and support for Power Platform as a middleware layer. The role will also support Agile delivery, continuous improvement and the adoption of new technologies as business needs evolve.

Responsibilities-
Design and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines across Dynamics 365, Dataverse and external systems

Develop data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines or SSIS

Support batch and real-time data integration workflows across enterprise platforms

Ensure data quality, validation, transformation and performance optimisation across integration processes

Work with Dynamics 365 applications and Dataverse architecture to support data migration and synchronisation

Design data models, relationships and schemas to support scalable data solutions

Support Power Platform as a middleware and integration layer across business systems

Develop API-based integrations using REST, JSON and XML

Maintain solution quality through effective use of Azure DevOps, Git repositories and release management practices

Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions

Participate in Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, development, testing and production support

Contribute to continuous improvement in data engineering standards, tools and best practice
Requirements-
5+ years’ experience in ETL, data engineering or data integration roles

Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS or Synapse Pipelines

Strong SQL skills and experience designing data models, schemas and transformations

Experience working with Dynamics 365 and Dataverse

Understanding of Power Platform as a middleware or integration layer

Experience developing API-based integrations using REST, JSON or XML

Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in Agile environments with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Flexible approach with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies
