Haven Connect is recruiting two Junior Mechanical Engineers on behalf of a leading Dublin-based fire protection specialist delivering the design, supply, installation and commissioning of compliant sprinkler and fire suppression systems across residential and commercial projects throughout Ireland.

Junior Mechanical Site Support – Overview
We are seeking motivated junior mechanical professionals to join an active site team, supporting day-to-day mechanical operations on live construction projects.
This role offers hands-on exposure to site coordination, materials management, and mechanical installation processes within a fast-paced construction environment.
The successful candidates will assist with procurement logistics (including collection of fittings and materials when required), attend daily coordination meetings, and support supervisors and engineers with site organisation, documentation, and workflow tracking.
This position is ideal for someone early in their mechanical career who is looking to gain practical site experience and build a long-term career in mechanical construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend daily site coordination meetings
- Assist with material logistics and collections
- Support mechanical supervisors with planning and site organisation
- Track materials, deliveries, and installation progress
- Maintain site documentation and basic records
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
- Support installation teams as required
Ideal Profile
- Mechanical trade or engineering background
- Early career / junior level
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
- Organised, proactive and hands-on
- Keen to develop within the mechanical construction sector
- Comfortable working on live construction sites
