HR Officer – Naas, Kildare

About the position
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, joining us as the HR Officer you’ll be required to work closely with the factory management team across all levels of the business to support and drive HR initiatives/improvements. You’ll provide day-to-day HR administration, co-ordination and support across all HR areas such as HR admin, recruitment, employment law compliance, performance, employee relations/grievances & discipline, time and attendance. You’ll also support employees and management on any HR issues or queries they may have and facilitating actions to resolve these in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Administer all HR-related documentation including statements of employment, social welfare forms, references, starter and leaver process etc.
- Ensure the relevant HR database/files are up to date, accurate and complies with GDPR legislation.
- Assist with the full Recruitment and Selection process and associated activities e.g. interview scheduling, interviews, reference checks, offer letters, issuing of contract of employment, induction and onboarding process.
- Support with delivery of HR communications activity business wide.
- Provide support for all on site audits, including Ethical / Quality and H&S audits.
- Co-ordination of learning and development, Induction and other training sessions e.g. HR Clinics.
- Co-ordinate the issuing of employee contracts and addendums to contracts
About You
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role and ideally qualified, or part qualified in a HR Discipline (Certificate but preferably a Degree in Human Resources). You’ll also demonstrate the following -

- Must set clear and high expectations for performance and demonstrates a sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results.
- You’re driven to deliver results, constantly striving to raise the standards for all processes.
- Excellent planning and organizing skills over varied concurrent agendas
- Strong PC skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HR Systems
