EHS Personnel (2–7 Years’ Experience)

Overview
We are seeking motivated and proactive Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) professionals to join a growing safety-focused organisation supporting projects across multiple sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse sites, ensuring compliance with Irish legislation and promoting best-in-class safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain EHS management systems in line with Irish regulations and industry best practice
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments across various project locations
- Identify hazards and ensure effective mitigation controls are in place
- Support incident investigations, reporting, and root cause analysis
- Deliver EHS inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (e.g. Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act)
- Maintain accurate EHS documentation, reports, and records
- Collaborate with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders to drive a positive safety culture
- Monitor KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide guidance and support to management on all EHS matters
Requirements
- 2–7 years’ experience in an EHS role (construction, engineering, or industrial environment preferred)
- Recognised EHS qualification (e.g. Degree/Diploma in Health & Safety or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation
- Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
Desirable
- Membership of IOSH, IEMA, or equivalent professional body
- Experience with ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
- First Aid, Manual Handling, or related certifications
- Experience working across multiple sites or projects
