We are currently seeking a 2 full-time Early Years Educator for our Junior and Senior Pre-school and our After School Club. The first position is for 5 mornings in our Preschool session 9:20-1pm and 2-3 afternoons in our after school club, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. The second position is 5 mornings in our preschool and relief work in our afternoon After School Club session 1:50-4:50pm.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum qualification of FETAC level 5 in early years studies. Ideally we are hoping to recruit a candidate with FETAC Level 7-8 qualifications and a minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar early years sessional environment. However we are also happy to mentor and support newly qualified educators who have little experience.
We require dedicated, enthusiastic individuals who have a genuine interest in caring for children.
Our ideal candidate will have;
– The ability to implement quality early childhood curriculum & creative skills to develop age appropriate activities
– A good working knowledge of Aistear 2024 & Siolta
– Understand & follow TUSLA regulations
– The ability to work as part of as a team & use initiative
– Excellent communication skills with children, parents and staff
This is a full- time position, Monday to Friday, Term time contract, September to June, option of employment in our Camp Care 3 day per week 9:20-1:20pm at Halloween, Easter and Summer Camps for July and August.
The successful applicant must be available to start work on Tuesday 25th August 2026.
Position is subject to qualifications, Garda vetting and 2 written references.
