The Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) will support the Person in Charge in the day-to-day clinical management and operation of Cramers Court Nursing Home. The successful candidate will promote a culture of person-centred care, clinical excellence, dignity, respect and continuous quality improvement in accordance with HIQA Standards and relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Person in Charge in the effective management of the nursing home.
- Ensure residents receive high-quality, safe and person-centred care.
- Supervise, support and mentor nursing and care staff.
- Monitor clinical practices to ensure compliance with HIQA Standards, Regulations and organisational policies.
- Participate in clinical governance, audits and quality improvement programmes.
- Support medication management systems and safe administration practices.
- Promote infection prevention and control practices throughout the centre.
- Assist with staff induction, training, supervision and performance management.
- Participate in incident reporting, risk management and safeguarding processes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care planning systems.
- Contribute to the development and review of policies, procedures and best practice guidelines.
- Deputise for the Person in Charge as required and within the scope of the role.
Pay: €45,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
