Key Responsibilities
- Patrol overhead line networks across rugged terrain in all weather conditions.
- Inspect utility poles for damage, rot, and structural integrity.
- Accurately record pole conditions, conduct span checks, and identify upgrade needs using company mobile apps/tablets.
- Complete all on-site Health & Safety paperwork prior to commencing works.
- Interact professionally with local landowners, tenants, and the general public.
- Adhere to strict client SOP’s & H&S guidelines.
Requirements
- Essential: Full, clean manual driving license.
- Essential: Valid Safe Pass certification (or willingness to obtain it immediately).
- Advantage: Previous experience surveying/patrolling overhead power networks (ESB or telecom) or line work experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a rural, field-based environment.
- Basic computer/tablet literacy for app-based data logging.
