Credit Control Assistant- 150 Harmonstown Rd, Dublin 5

Principle Objective
The role of the Credit Control Assistant is to maintain a debtor’s ledger and ensure that our customers pay in a timely manner. The successful candidate will provide support to our customers with copy invoices/signed dockets if/when required.
Knowledge & Experience
- Previous experience in Credit Control.
- Excellent written and numerical skills.
- Knowledge of accounting.
- Previous cash handling experiences preferable but not essential.
- Good IT literacy (Microsoft Office)
Key Responsibilities
- Cash collection targets (Debtor Days)
- Updating incoming payments daily on the finance system.
- Query management.
- Preparation of cash lodgements for collection by security company.
- Working closely with the Credit Manager to ensure credit terms are adhered to.
- Liaising with the sales staff to resolve any queries that arise with our customers.
Essential Competencies
- Previous experience in a credit control position.
- Excellent interpersonal and Communication skills with attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation & relationship skills.
- Motivated and driven individual with ability to prioritise workload.
