Hospitality Operations ManagerGalway City Centre
Salary: €60,000 - €70,000 per annum plus performance-related profit share scheme
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced hospitality leader to join a high-profile city centre hospitality business with an overall customer capacity of approximately 550 guests, including seating for up to 160 food customers.
The business has built a strong reputation for hospitality, live sport, entertainment, atmosphere and customer experience, attracting a loyal local customer base alongside significant domestic and international trade throughout the year.
We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Hospitality Operations Manager to provide leadership across all food and beverage operations and play a key role in the continued development of the business.
This is not a back-office management role.
Success in this role will be built on strong leadership, visibility, accountability and the ability to inspire teams to consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences.
The successful candidate will be a visible presence within the operation, leading from the front, supporting managers and teams, driving standards, building customer loyalty and helping create exceptional guest experiences every day.
Reporting directly to ownership, the successful candidate will have significant influence over operational performance, people development, customer experience, business planning and future growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all food and beverage operations.

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior hospitality management position, such as Assistant General Manager, Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, Food & Beverage Manager, Operations Manager or similar leadership role.
- Experience managing high-volume food and beverage operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Proven experience recruiting and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Experience managing labour costs and operational performance.
- A hands-on leadership style with a willingness to lead from the front.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, people and customer experience.
- Experience managing live sport, entertainment or high-volume event-led trading would be a distinct advantage.
