Gourmet Fuel is looking for an experienced Picker / Packer Assistant to join their team on site.
On average 15-20 hours per week
Must be available from late afternoon to evening.
This is a fixed term contract starting 24th august - 25th June 2027. All hours and shifts will be in accordance with the school calendar year. All holidays to be taken during school term breaks.
Duties include :
- To ensure all products are completed on time and to the correct requirements
- Ensure the highest standards of health and safety
- Pick & Pack orders correctly in our refrigerated cold room
- Assembling , boxing up and dispatching meals
- Sealing packaging, labelling , scanning for dispatch
- To ensure regulatory compliance at all times for all food production areas
- To attend all necessary training programmes to develop your own potential and enable your progress in the company
- Cleaning shifts to be completed as directed by management
- Good literacy and numeracy and admin skills with attention to detail
- Fluent in English
The suitable applicant must be available for the above shifts stated and be flexible in their approach to the availability of any overtime required.
This position may not suit applicants currently studying during day time.
PREVIOUS FOOD EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
