Early Years Educator
Treetops Daycare and Afterschool Club is an Early Year’s Education and Care service in Kilcoole; employing 17 staff members and caring for over 100 children Monday to Friday aged between 6 months and 12 years.
We are currently recruiting for an Early Years Educator for our service in our Wobbler room.
Must have recognised Childcare Qualification (Min QQI Level 5)
Our opening hours are 7.30am-6.00pm, you will be required to
work shifts within these hours.
Start Date: August/September 2026
Hours: 35-40 hours approx. based on a five day week (some flexibility in hours will be required)
Salary: Competitive Salary (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Roles and Responsibilities
· You will be involved in delivering high quality care and learning opportunities for children and care routines such as nappy changing/toileting, meals, and sleep times, based on the needs, interests and ages of the children.
· You will work alongside a room leader, manager, and all staff members.
· Supporting the children’s play and consequently their learning and development.
· Promoting positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues.
· Ensuring health, safety, and wellbeing of all children.
· Following and implementing company policies, procedures, and operational practices always to ensure the care, safety and well-being of our children and staff.
· Fluency in both spoken and written English.
· Enthusiastic, self -motivating and initiative.
