Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Permanent/ Fixed- Term Sales Representative. The right person and experience will determine which role we fill.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about sales whilst providing excellent customer service to our customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business, growing the customer base and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
Key Reponsiblities:
- Calling to all new customers (overnights may be required)
- Calling to existing customers to process new orders and offer customer support
- Follow through on the order process by email and phone daily
- Follow up leads by phone and email daily
- Meeting agreed sales targets
- Setting up merchandise/display stands for customers where required
- Dealing with customer queries via phone and email
- Work closely with the managing directors
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports using company systems.
- Represent the company professionally and positively at all times.
Skills:
Essential:
- 2 years’ experience in a sales rep role
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to develop strong customer relationships.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Proficient computer skills – proficient in Google Sheets and Email.
- Full clean driving licence
- Willingness to travel throughout the island of Ireland.
Desirable
- Experience within fuel sector, hardwares, retail, supermarket sectors.
- Knowledge of the Irish retail market.
- Existing network of retail or commercial contacts
- Candidate living in the Connaught/midlands region.
