Abbott Vascular is one of the world's leading vascular care businesses. Our broad line of vascular devices–which includes vessel closure, endovascular and coronary technologies–are used to treat vessel diseases of the heart, carotid arteries and peripheral blood vessels. These vessel diseases can lead to heart attack, stroke, critical limb ischemia and other serious vascular conditions.

We have an exciting opportunity as a Facilities Technician, Intermediate and this role will involve the following
Main Purpose:

Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the specific area.

Works independently, applies standards yet adapts precedent and may make departures from established processes to resolve problems.

Responsible for the reliable operation of the organisation's buildings, facilities, machinery and equipment.
Main Responsibilities
-
Activities include conducting scheduled maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting faults and undertaking repairs, and selecting, engaging and working with outside contractors.

Performs the most complex skilled maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical and building systems.

Specialised ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

High knowledge of methods, practices and techniques of maintaining building and facilities.
Education & Experience
-
(Education/ Experience) National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 12months of related work experience
