Administration Assistant - Contract - Oranmore, Galway
Assisting the Head of Compliance & Operational Management with administration duties, including but not limited to the items below.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative assistance with Risk Management and Business Continuity Planning
- Assistance coordinating the Policy Framework for the Marine Institute- liaising with stakeholders, admin preparation, update of documents, creation and update of registers etc.
- Administrative assistance with ARC and other meeting preparation
- Audit coordination assistance, as required
- Set up and update of sharepoint sites
- Website and intranet updates
- Desk top research
- Support the Manager with tendering/procurement activities
- Any other administrative assistance with ad hoc duties, as arise within the Compliance/ Risk/Governance/Corporate Services function
Requirements:
- Strong administration skills, with good attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a track record, building and maintaining relationships.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Applications
- Experience working in deadline driven environments
- Proven ability to use their own initiative, whilst also being a team player
- Discreet/ confidential
- Experience working in a Governance/ Risk & Compliance environment an advantage
